MARGARET JILL COX
Chief Executive Officer
Jill Cox began her career in London, England as an architectural assistant in the field of quantity surveying. Her professional career eventually took her to the United States where she began Warehouse Services, Inc. in 1986 with her husband the former Vice Chairman of Fluor Daniel Corporation, Charles W. Cox. Jill has been instrumental in growing Warehouse Services Inc. to what is now, an asset-based global Third-Party Logistics Company. The company continues to grow each year through new client development, acquisitions and expanded opportunities with existing customers.
BARRY COX
President
Barry embarked on a collaborative journey with his father to establish the groundwork for Warehouse Services, Inc., the very company he currently leads as President. Commencing his involvement with Warehouse Services Inc. in 1986, Barry has been instrumental in the company's remarkable growth across 18 states and Canada, now overseeing a workforce of more than 5,000 dedicated employees. Prior to his tenure at the company, Barry accumulated operational experiences at esteemed entities such as Georgia Power and Texas Crude Oil Company in Midland, Texas.
JEFF DENNING
Chief Financial Officer
Jeff Denning has over 18 years of experience within the finance and accounting disciplines. Previously, Jeff held the position of bank regulator with a federal banking oversight agency. Joining Warehouse Services Inc. in 1996, Jeff has held positions of staff accountant and controller before his appointment to CFO in 2006. As CFO, Jeff directs all finance and treasury management activities for all operations.
STEVE MAGRUDER, CPA
Chief Operations Officer
Steve Magruder earned an accounting degree from the University of Southern Indiana. He joined John Friend and Company in 1994 as a Senior Accountant and later moved to GAF Materials Corp in 2000. Steve joined our company in 2007 as a finance manager and swiftly advanced to become Director of Finance in 2008, then Vice President of Finance in 2010. With a deep understanding of Warehouse Services, Inc., he contributes to client value and is involved in M&A efforts and RFP responses. In 2018, he was appointed Chief Operations Officer.
JOHN ROHLMAN
Vice President, Global Business Development
John Rohlman leads the Business Development and Marketing groups across The Cox Group holdings. Prior to this role, John led Transportation Maintenance, His exceptional performance led to his progression from Director of US Operations to VP of NA Operations, where he provided comprehensive supervision over operations in the US and Canada. John's diverse range of roles and extensive responsibilities have uniquely equipped him to spearhead the Business Development efforts within The Cox Group.
TIM STEELE
Director, Industrial Relations
As Director, of Industrial Relations, Tim Steele leads the North American team that supports personnel, labor relations, and safety. Tim oversees compensation, benefits administration, training, and development, and coordinates internal communications. Since joining Warehouse Services Inc. in 2005, Tim also served as a senior project manager within the engineering business unit. Before Warehouse Services Inc., Tim served in plant management for a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company and offers 36 years of combined professional management experience.
CHRIS APPLE
Vice President, Operations
Chris Apple provides leadership to the retail direct-to-consumer and Food and Drug Distribution Operations. His responsibilities include: design, implementation, long-term strategy development, and execution of client relationships. Chris has over 30 years of experience in Third-Party Logistics, distribution, and supply chain solutions, and has held positions in operations management roles spanning multiple markets and industries.
JOHN WEIL
Director, Chemical / Industrial Operations
As Director, Operations, John Weil oversees the chemical / industrial supply chain operations which include warehousing, distribution, and value-added services across North America. Previously, John served in various manufacturing and distribution managerial positions within Midwest operations. Before joining Warehouse Services Inc., John spent most of his professional career within the plastics industry and offers 31 years of professional management experience.
JOE WINIGER
Vice President, Midwest Operations
Joe Winiger provides leadership to the direct response unit operations for clients in the consumer goods industry. This includes apparel, headwear, accessories, and upstream MRO items. Before assuming his current role in 2006, Joe was vice president for Midwest operations in the U.S. and Canada. In addition, he played a key role in the initial startup and growth of the transportation business unit in 1996. Joe provides Warehouse Services Inc. with over 36 years of diversified experience.
MIKE DANIEL
Vice President, Manufacturing / Engineering & Commercial
Mike Daniel is responsible for directing the growth strategy, development, and operations for the Manufacturing / Engineering & Commercial business units. Previously, he has served in corporate Master Black Belt and business development positions. Mike has over 30 years of experience, and prior to joining Warehouse Services Inc. in 1999, Mike worked for Johnson & Johnson Company, Alltrista Corporation, and Tioga International in a variety of management and senior engineering roles.
PHIL STEPHENSON
President, Transportation
Phil is a 30-year veteran rising through the ranks from operations manager to President. Under Phil's guidance, our transportation fleet has grown from a 90-tractor fleet to over 700 power units. Also, the fleet has grown from a single-customer semi-private fleet in the plastics industry to servicing over 500 customers in a broad range of diverse industries including automotive, plastics, furniture, sporting goods, printed media, and construction. In addition, Phil and his team have expanded their service platform to provide all modes of transportation including FTL, LTL, Dry Bulk, and parcel.
SAM LURKER
Vice President, Administration
As Vice President, Administration, Sam Lurker provides leadership in corporate policy and procedure dealings, as well as any external communications, media requests, or client event planning activities. Since joining Warehouse Services Inc. in 1998, Sam has played a key role in directing the organization in many critical institutional areas such as insurance planning, risk management, and benefits procurement.
MITZI MCLEES
Corporate Secretary Officer
As Corporate Secretary and Vice President, Mitzi McLees has provided leadership in the Greenville, SC Corporate Office since 1995. Since her start with the company, Mitzi’s strong organizational and communicative skills have proven to be an asset for Warehouse Services. She has also played a key role in event planning for company-wide employee activities and serves as Personal Secretary to our Chairman & CEO, Margaret Jill Cox. Mitzi has worked in Warehousing and Logistics since 1985.
KELLI ROHLMAN
Director, Quality Assurance
Kelli Rohlman joined Warehouse Services Inc. in 1997 as a member of the quality and customer service team. Now, 27 years later and appointed as Director of quality Assurance, she oversees all aspects of development, implementation, and management of the company compliance and quality management programs, including ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 certifications. Along with becoming a Six Sigma Black Belt in 1999 and numerous successful ISO certifications, she also directs a team of account-specific quality and customer service personnel to manage various aspects of compliance and quality management.
AMY MCDOWELL
Director, Accounting
Amy was born in Jasper, Indiana and attended Northeast Dubois High School. She graduated from the University of Southern Indiana with an accounting degree in 2001. She began her career with Old National Bank after which she joined GAF Materials Corporation supporting the business accounting department. After working with GAF, she joined the Vanderburgh County Auditor’s office managing the financial records. Amy joined WSI in 2003 and has supported the business in a variety of roles during the past 12 years. Amy was selected as the new Director Accounting at the General Annual meeting in February of 2016.
AMBER THORN
Vice President, Finance and Corporate Development
Amber hails from Indiana and is an alumna of the University of Southern Indiana, majoring in Marketing. During her college years, she contributed to Warehouse Services, Inc., assisting with the Accounts Payable department. In 2009, Amber earned her master’s in business administration from Indiana Wesleyan University. Additionally, she holds certificates in Lean Supply Chain Professional and Six Sigma Black Belt both from Georgia Tech. At present, her role encompasses overseeing client finance reporting and budgeting. During Amber's time here she has shown no act of service is too big and is heavily involved in community service. In 2023 she was recognized on the Evansville Rotary’s 20 Under 40 list.
CURT REITZ
President of Contract Transportation Services
Curt is a native of Leesville, Louisiana. After graduating from Selins Grove High School, Curt began his career with Ryder. He then worked as a freight supervisor for North American Van Lines in Baltimore, Maryland. After serving NAVL, he assumed a sales role with Arnold Transportation as a National Accounts Manager. Afterwards, Mr. Reitz joined Interstate Distributor Company serving as their Vice President of regional operations for the eastern 38 states. Mr. Reitz then served joined Roehl Transport as Vice President of Customer Service. In 2006 he joined Celadon Transportation serving as the Vice President of Sales for Regional, Dedicated and Intermodal operations. Curt earned his Bachelors of Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts. Curt currently serves as the President of Contract Transportation Services in Green Bay, Wi., which was acquired by ISMI on 2013 Curt was selected as the new President of Contract Transportation Services at the General Annual meeting in February of 2016.
TOM WINTZ
President of Total Logistics LLC
Tom Wintz started working in Warehousing and Trucking as a kid converting payroll from punch cards to an IBM PC. He has worked in every facet of the transportation industry and was on the Board of the Minnesota Trucking Association where he received the President’s Award. He was a Finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the Year program in 2008 for Turnarounds. Also, he received the Legacy Honour Award from the Young Presidents Organization. Tom Wintz's work in Warehousing and Trucking, along with his industry recognition, reflects a legacy of innovation and leadership.
NATE EISELE
Director, Customer Service
Nate’s career at Warehouse Services Inc. began in 1998 when he started as a material handler. Nate quickly proved himself as a top-performing employee, and his strong work ethic and leadership skills allowed him to advance into operational leadership roles. In 2007, he began working in the quality department, and in 2009, he was promoted to the role of Corporate Quality Manager. Nate is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Lead Internal Auditor in ISO 9001, and ISO 45001. His commitment to process improvement and continuous learning is evident in everything he does, and his contributions to the industry have been invaluable. As the Director of Customer Service, he continues to champion our commitment to exceptional service, leveraging his leadership skills and extensive experience to drive customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
ANGELA STEPHENSON
Director, Employee Compensation
Angela Stephenson's 29-year career at Warehouse Services Inc. showcases her payroll and compensation mastery.
